Back on the Job – Remotely

The Chief Concierge team couldn’t be happier about our recent launch. We’ve been busy calling and reconnecting with our vendors. Our vendors (restaurants/ tour operators/ private drivers/ shop owners) are what make us successful; they ensure we get you the reservations you need. After not having spoken with our contacts for 4 months (!!!) it’s been a delight to “check-in” and hear how they’re getting by in the post-COVID tourism environment.

Several businesses are reopened and we’re pleased to see proprietors enforcing social distancing and mask use. One of our team members has had several short visits around town with our favorite shopkeepers. For example, he popped in to see Yvonne Lefleur at her eponymous shop; the quintessential New Orleans ladies’ shop. She and her staff are delightful – her stock is curated beautifully.  Another stop made was on Magazine Street at Perch; our go-to place for hostess gifts and home décor (secret – we’re dedicating our November social media accounts to “Gift Giving”).
